Irregular or Missed Periods
Periods that are consistently irregular, unusually heavy, or have stopped altogether — particularly outside of pregnancy — should be evaluated to rule out hormonal imbalance, PCOD, or thyroid disorders.
Severe Period Pain
Cramping that is severe enough to disrupt daily activities, prevent work or school, or require strong painkillers every cycle may indicate endometriosis, fibroids, or another treatable condition.
Difficulty Getting Pregnant
If you have been trying to conceive for 12 months (or 6 months if over 35) without success, a gynaecological evaluation is the first and most important step towards understanding and addressing the cause.
Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding
Bleeding between periods, after intercourse, or after menopause — these patterns are never normal and always require prompt investigation to rule out polyps, fibroids, infection, or malignancy.
Symptoms of Menopause Affecting Quality of Life
Hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disturbances, vaginal dryness, or urinary symptoms that are significantly affecting daily life deserve specialist attention and effective management.
